11th of May 2005

Still heavy redecoration going on, added the body links to cool websites, to the sidebar, and added the Site Map links, which link to other sections of the blog. The philosophy section is up and running, while the music section will require some work, but will be available shortly.
For some reason, I realized almost all my lecture notes for multimedia technologies have disappeared! Yep, that's right into thin air. It's ok though, didn't take many notes for the subject. Played about 2 hours of empire earth, this time against hardest AI, two against two, me being allied to another hardest AI player. At one point i ended up being with about 15 citizens, but still managed to recover and now am on the march. Also if anybody has cover pictures for Wolf's Rain volume 2, could you send them to me? Leave a comment if you have those :)

10th of May 2005

Wow, spent so much time redecorating and adding elements that I forgot to post :S Well, i love this website, it's beginning to look like I wanted it to look, that is not amateurish. Also added the counter finally! Not much happening really, had my artificial neural networks exam yesterday, and it was 50/50 really, not sure of some answers. But it could have been much much worse, so we'll see. Been listening to a lot of new music lately, first off Disturbed, they have some stuff that makes me move a little, get down and boogie :p . Homer Simpson would have said "Ah! Boogie-man" hehe. Also SUM41, and some Korn. Also got the latest Rhapsody album, which basically consists of "Magic of the wizard's dream" in English, French, German and Italian, same song. In French it sound absolutely dreadful and primitive. I like the Italian and English versions, neutral about the German one. Hearing Christopher Lee singing was fun, he really adds a lot to the song, it's amazing really, god bless this man, purely enjoying a taste of almost everything in life, yes, even metal music. It's getting a little late even though I still have some things to say hehe, next time then!

3rd of May 2005

Wow, got my hardest exam tomorrow probably, revising small notes i took on post-it yellow sticky papers. When i had a few hours free, i played empire earth 2, i can provide a mini walkthrough for two of the missions in the Korean campaign. In one game, you fight against Kaguyuchi and Paekche and need to bring a Chinese ambassador to your territory. This is EASY, if you're quick. Basically, take the territory right next on your left. Don't have to go all the way, just wall yourself in using full capacitity of stone/outpost towers.
Get your spies through the northern pass all the way through to China. This will at least stop the dumb counter. You can manage the rest while the counter disappears.
After that, make a huge army of Hwarang, and invade the land directly north of your position, this just makes it easier for later. Again, wall yourself in, using full capacity of towers. Build a small fleet of about 12-15 Decaremes, upgrade them to Elite, and defeat the Japanese islands. Ships can reach the Fortresses. Use the same path to safely escort the Chinese ambassador back to Silla, using a small squadron of Hwarang to shield the character, bring him down to Silla, and win.

Two, the number 7 mission i believe. This time you're allied with China, but you have to get 4 territories before they do. The easiest way is to immediately pump out some villagers while the game is paused. Also make about 2-3 priests, and maybe 3 armored cavalry soldiers. Head directly east over the bridge, convert the main monk, and gain control of the land. DO NOT WAIT, head directly north, and defeat Paekche. Use 5-6 villagers to secure every area you go through, with a castle, city centre. Head north west to Kaguyuchi, defeat both lands, and secure them. Once it's done, China will declare war, use your main unit to fend off immediate attacks, while using your villagers to start building a safe perimeter of towers and walls. After you set down the perimeter, it's really easy. Build a maximum amount of medieval cavalry and send them to defeat the central territory easily. Then the western one, and finally the northern one. For security, you might want to build safety perimeters everywhere possible and useful.

There you go, hope this helps, back to revisions after a well earned burger which might i point out is now cold :(
