Hello people, and welcome to my blog, for another update. Wow, it's been a week :) Ok let's get serious, as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dominate the current news affairs, I decided to plunge myself back into history, and debating interesting things on Eidos forums about Imperial Glory. Also watched some documentaries about Julius Cesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Alexander the Great.
Napoleon of course is the epoch that Imperial Glory touches, so it's interesting to read what people say about him and his reign, although the documentary about him was hmmm, very very partial. They didn't say why Austerlitz was won, they didn't mention it was because the French bombarded the ice covered lake to sink the Austro-Russian troops. About Waterloo they just say it was a numerical disadvantage, which is true, but the reason why Waterloo was lost was because of poor tactics, and Marechal Ney's infamous cavalry charge.
Anyway, I've been trying to find ways in which i could connect my laptop to a tv screen, and it wasn't as easy as I though, apparently i will need a SCART converter, that allows the laptop's S-VHS cable to connect to the tv's SCART. Also did some minor research on Virtual private networks just to later figure out that to connect 2 pc's you only need an Ethernet cable, without the hub :( .
One of the latest shows of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart showed a strange dude saying that pop culture is good for us :() yeah yeah, so we can all become sissies and plunge deeper into ignorance. In what way, say Brittney Spears is good for us? Pop culture is a disaster of the modern world, stupidy rules, and well celebrities whore themselves beyond belief. Especially funny was every time Mr.Stewart attempted to say something against the writer's comments, the writer was lost, coz the book is crappy, and i can also write anything i want and publish it, that doesn't make me a smart man. What makes me smart, is the ability to rationally analyze situations, and take the best decisions.
I love my girl so much, she bought me a dragon pendant for my b-day, of course i'll only get it when i go visit Malaysia in July. I love her so much, every second with her is a pure joy, even if we don't always hit the keys on the keyboard, we still stare at each other. Love is THE most amazing thing ever! And if you're afraid of getting a girl, because you run out of things to talk, well welcome to the world, because people always run out of things to talk ;)
